The main objective of the 8th International Conference
Contemporary Problems of Mathematics, Mechanics and Informatics (CPMMI 2024)
is to bring together leading professors, scientists and researchers to exchange ideas and knowledge in Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences and thus to contribute to the raising of these fields of study to a qualitatively higher level, which is very important for the European integration process.
In recent years, there has been a significant progress in these science areas, enabling solution of many practical issues. The Conference will present current topics with based strategies for encouraging the overall development based on knowledge.
Besides having presentations from the latest knowledge in Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences, the participants of the Conference shall emphasize on to directions of further research in these areas of science and applications in other scientific disciplines.
This Conference will point to the importance of balanced regional development of science as a basic assumption of the total balanced and sustainable development of underdeveloped areas of the Republic of Serbia.
The conference will take place at the State University of Novi Pazar. The city of Novi Pazar is a significant economic, cultural and educational center in the southwest of Serbia and the city where the State University of Novi Pazar is situated. The location where it is placed is surrounded by the Golija and Rogozna mountains and the Pešter plateau lies to the west.
The city is an area where various civilizations alternated from the prehistoric period to the present. It is particularly important its medieval heritage, since the first Serbian statehood and spirituality were born here, with cultural and historical monuments: the Monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul from the 9th and 10th century, the Monastery the Pillars of Saint George from the 12th century, the Sopocani Monastery from the 13th century, the Old Town of Ras etc.
Novi Pazar is also rich in cultural and historical monuments from the Ottoman period, when the city was one of the most important and largest trade centers in the Balkans: the Altun-alem Mosque, which was built between 1516 and 1518, the Lejlek Mosque, the Arab Mosque, Turkish Bath, Novi Pazar Fortress etc.
Accommodation and venue could be organized by the State University of Novi Pazar in cooperation with hotels Vrbak and Pasha, under the most favorable terms, or on author’s own.
The registration fee for participation in the conference is 50 €, and it covers the conference program, the conference book of abstracts, attendance at all scientific sessions, an opening reception, coffee breaks and a conference dinner.
