Teaching is achieved through constant contact of students with teachers and associates through lectures, exercises, consultations and mentoring.
The study program of graduate academic studies prescribes the compulsory and optional subjects of the program. The student is obliged to pass all mandatory and the number of optional subjects prescribed by the study program.
The forms of teaching depend on the type of teaching and can be active teaching, independent work of students, colloquiums, exams, study research work, preparation of the final thesis.
The purpose of this study program is to educate students in the field of economics, which provides deepening of knowledge in the following areas:
* contemporary macroeconomic theories and policies (understanding of the functioning of market economies and their implications for the formulation and management of economic policy);
* macroeconomic and microeconomic aspects, processes of globalization and transition;
* understanding of numerous factors and aspects of sustainable rural development in the EU and countries in transition;
* corporate management of the company.
Instructing students in the basic theoretical, methodological and applied dimensions of research in the field of economics and management of economic development,
* training students to understand and further study key, open questions of contemporary economic theory and practice,
* training students to acquire knowledge and techniques for independent theoretical and practical analysis of relevant problems of contemporary economic science and practice during their studies, and above all within the framework of study research work and during the preparation and defense of the final Master’s thesis.
Students are trained for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the development of the national economy and the implementation of economic policy, as well as independent monitoring of current theoretical and practical economics, as well as for further scientific advancement within the framework of doctoral academic studies.
