This study program offers basic courses in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering and electronics, and a large selection of specialized subjects in the field of computer technology. It is planned that the teaching will be conducted through lectures, auditory, laboratory exercises and consultations, thus enabling the fulfillment of pre-examination obligations and preparation for taking final exams in selected subjects and a final paper in one of the selected subjects. Out of a total of 49 subjects in the study program, 27 subjects are mandatory, as well as professional practice and the final thesis. All courses are one-semester. The semester lasts 15 weeks. The study program is implemented over 8 semesters.
General abilities refer to the mastery of research methods, procedures and processes, the development of critical and self-critical thinking and approaches, the application of knowledge in practice, analysis, synthesis and prediction of solutions and consequences, the development of communication skills and dexterity, as well as cooperation with the wider social and international environment , professional ethics. Subject-specific abilities monitor computing resources, informac. and communication. technology of individuals and organizations, solve specific problems using scientific methods and procedures, connect knowledge from different fields and their applications, understand and contribute to scientific, mathematical and theoretical foundations on which computer, information, communication and multimedia technologies are based.
Acquired competences enable them to apply acquired knowledge and skills in practice and transfer them to colleagues at work; to present the results of work in an appropriate manner; to recognize, describe and solve basic design and engineering problems; to understand the interaction between design, construction and the demands of users, the environment and society; that under the management of a licensed construction engineer-designer, they design objects of less complexity; that, under the management of a licensed construction engineer-contractor, they manage a smaller construction project.
