Information on Commission activities, research quality, reports and documents.
The Commission for Monitoring, Improvement and Control of Research Quality continuously monitors, evaluates and proposes measures for the improvement of research activities at the University in accordance with the Regulations on the Work of the Commission and the Rules of Procedure of the Quality Assurance Centre and Commissions at the State University of Novi Pazar.
The Commission monitors and analyses the research activities of academic and associate staff and students at the individual level, the study programme level and the University level. Monitoring and analysis is carried out periodically — annually or once every three years — through the collection and processing of data relating to:
- publication of research and artistic outputs;
- leadership and participation in national and international research projects, as well as technology transfer projects;
- defended doctoral dissertations and artistic projects;
- publishing activities.
Based on the analysis of collected data, the Commission proposes measures for improving research activities:
- incentive measures for the improvement of research activities of academic and associate staff;
- educational workshops for academic and associate staff, as well as scientific and informational seminars and workshops for students;
- programme measures supporting the research activities of young researchers;
- programme measures for staff development (academic, technical and administrative staff).
Each year, the Commission recognises a young and a senior researcher, a study programme and a department with the most successful research outcomes in the previous year or over the previous three-year period.
Research Quality Control Includes:
- verification of alignment of criteria for academic promotion with the recommendations of the National Council for Higher Education;
- verification of compliance in the appointment of academic staff and mentors on doctoral programmes with other higher education institutions and current accreditation standards;
- verification of alignment of research strategies and objectives with the strategic orientation of the institution and the national strategy;
- verification of the integration of research methods and findings into the curricula of Bachelor, Master and Doctoral Academic Studies;
- verification of support for academic and associate staff in publishing research results;
- verification of the nurturing of young researchers.
At the Commission's session held on 30 November 2022, the Work Plan for the period 2022–2024 was adopted.
