Gender Equality
Information about the Gender Equality Plan and the work of the Gender Equality Committee at the State University of Novi Pazar.
Gender equality implies equal opportunities, equal visibility, and equal representation of men and women in all spheres of private and public life. Developing mental and cognitive sensitivity to issues of gender equality is of paramount civilisational importance for education as an essential characteristic of society and the individual.
As an important step towards raising awareness of the significance of gender equality, the Senate of the State University of Novi Pazar, at its session held on 29 March 2023, adopted the Gender Equality Plan at the State University of Novi Pazar.
The main objective of adopting the Gender Equality Plan is to monitor the development of gender equality alongside the commitment of the State University of Novi Pazar to promoting gender equality at all levels.
The Plan contains an analysis of the current state of gender equality, as well as objectives, measures, and actions that enable an environment of equal opportunities and a culture of equality.
To monitor the implementation of the Plan, the Senate of the State University of Novi Pazar, by decision of 12 February 2026, elected the Gender Equality Committee.
