About the Department

The Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences is engaged in delivering teaching in the fields of mathematics, informatics, physics, chemistry and biology, as well as conducting scientific research in those areas. Students acquire knowledge and skills from the mathematical, chemical, biological and related sciences, applicable in manufacturing and service industries, in multidisciplinary teams, and in primary, secondary and higher education institutions.

Teaching is delivered through modern and flexible curricula aligned with a range of international programmes, developing both theoretical and practical knowledge in selected areas. Small group sizes enable faster and better individual development for each student.

Teaching at the Department of Natural and Mathematical Sciences is conducted at the Bachelor Academic Studies, Master Academic Studies and Doctoral Academic Studies levels.
