Representatives of the embassies of the Federal Republic of Germany and the Kingdom of the Netherlands visited the State University of Novi Pazar today and held a meeting with the Rector of this higher education institution, Prof. Dr. Tanja Soldatović, and the Rector's Adviser for Student Affairs, Izet Cama.
The German diplomatic delegation included officers for politics, culture and media, Hannah Elten and Pawel Voronin, while the delegation of the Embassy of the Netherlands included Political Secretary Aart Murray and Political Adviser Jelena Radoman.
The diplomats expressed interest in the organizational structure of the State University, its study programmes, and the conditions in which young people are educated at this higher education institution.
Prof. Dr. Tanja Soldatović emphasized that one of the main priorities of the State University is to provide its students with the highest possible quality of knowledge, and that greater attention will be devoted to international cooperation in the future.
The hosts and guests agreed that higher education, as well as its accessibility, is of crucial importance for economic and social development.
