The agreement, which provides a framework for closer ties between the two higher education institutions, was signed by UCG Rector Prof. Dr Vladimir Božović and SUNP Rector Prof. Dr Tanja Soldatović.

Rector Božović highlighted the importance of connecting universities that share similar values and goals in education and science, while also facing similar challenges.

'I am pleased that today we are formalising what already exists in practice — a wonderful cooperation. This is a living document, something that I am confident will be filled in the coming period with meetings and joint work on concrete projects,' said Rector Božović.

'This agreement will strengthen the cooperation between the two institutions at its very foundation, and raise to a higher level the achievement of common goals through the accreditation of joint study programmes and dual degrees, which will aim to facilitate the integration of graduates into the economy,' said Rector Soldatović.

The agreement provides a broad framework for cooperation that primarily encompasses the exchange of students and academic staff, as well as joint participation in scientific research projects. In addition to mobility, the document defines cooperation in the organisation of scientific conferences and seminars, exchange of academic literature, and work on professional development programmes for academic and administrative staff at both universities.
