Basic Information

The State University of Novi Pazar (SUNP), Department of Sciences and Mathematics organizes the

8^th International Conference

CONTEMPORARY PROBLEMS OF MATHEMATICS, MECHANICS AND INFORMATICS (CPMMI 2024)

The conference will be held at the State University of Novi Pazar, 2nd, 3rd and 4th June 2024, Novi Pazar, Serbia.

Instructions for Authors

In addition to plenary lectures, more papers will be published in the Scientific Publications of the State University of Novi Pazar, Series A: Applied Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics.

The papers should be written in English. The text should be prepared using LaTeX. Figures should be in EPS format.

At the beginning of the paper, under the title, name(s) of author(s) and affiliation(s) should be given. References should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

Abstracts and full papers should be sent to: cpmmi@np.ac.rs.

Objectives of the Conference

The main objective of the 8th International Conference Contemporary Problems of Mathematics, Mechanics and Informatics (CPMMI 2024) is to bring together leading professors, scientists and researchers to exchange ideas and knowledge in Mathematics, Mechanics and Computer Sciences.

Recent progress in these scientific areas enables solutions to many practical issues, and the conference presents current topics and strategies for knowledge-based development.

The conference also emphasizes future research directions, applications in other scientific disciplines, and the importance of balanced regional scientific development.

Location

The conference will take place at the State University of Novi Pazar, in the economic, cultural and educational center of southwest Serbia.

The city is surrounded by the Golija and Rogozna mountains, while the Pešter plateau lies to the west.

Novi Pazar is rich in medieval and Ottoman cultural heritage, including the Monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, St. George's Monastery, Sopoćani Monastery, Altun-alem Mosque, Turkish Bath and Novi Pazar Fortress.

Accommodation

Accommodation and venue could be organized by the State University of Novi Pazar in cooperation with hotels Vrbak and Pasha, under the most favorable terms, or on the author's own arrangement.

Registration and Agenda

The registration fee for participation in the conference is 50 €. It covers the conference program, the book of abstracts, attendance at all scientific sessions, opening reception, coffee breaks and conference dinner.
