Laboratorija za bioorgansku hemiju

Naučnoistraživačka delatnost Laboratorije za bioorgansku hemiju obuhvata interdisciplinarna istraživanja iz nekoliko međusobno povezanih oblasti – organske hemije, biohemije, medicinske hemije, fitohemije, farmakognozije, farmakologije i ekologije. Osnovni pravci istraživanja oslanjaju se na savremena saznanja i primenu savremenih metoda u cilju razumevanja i rešavanja kurentnih problema iz oblasti hemije, biologije i medicine. Nova saznanja o bioaktivnim molekulima iz prirodnih izvora, derivatima i strukturnim analozima prirodnih proizvoda, kao i mehanizmu njihovog delovanja, osnovni su preduslov za njihovu upotrebu u primenjenim naukama i oblastima, kao što su medicina, farmacija, poljoprivreda itd.

Misija Kroz naučnoistraživački rad i edukaciju, uz permanentno usavršavanje istraživača i istraživanja, doprineti unapređenju postojećih i razvoju novih saznanja u oblasti organske hemije, biohemije, medicinske hemije, fitohemije, farmakognozije, farmakologije i ekologije.

Vizija Postati prepoznatljiv u domaćoj i međunarodnoj akademskoj, stručnoj, i široj javnosti, i time doprineti integraciji Državnog univerziteta u Novom Pazaru u evropski naučnoistraživački prostor.
